Nice. I'm jealous because my comp can barely handle CA let alone bf3.

Re: BF3
Have fun spending an hour or two getting around all the Origin bugs and compatibility issues so you can have the same exact boring ass gameplay since Bad Company 1.
If you actually get around all the issues (such as entering a 100 player queue and having to wait an hour when you try to join a server that's 50% full), you'll be thrilled to notice that it looks the exact same as Bad Company 2 - including the shitty killfeed because they still haven't figured out that using icons in a killfeed is simple and lets players figure out what's going on a fucklot faster.
But of course it's all worth it when you finally get to playing the game, because all the maps are specially designed to encourage spawn camping and the entire match becomes "which team can camp first?" I know, it already sounds fun! But other players love talking about their tactical camp because it's so realistic, that's when the game gets really fun!
Also be sure to have the latest graphics driver before playing or the game will cause your computer to blue screen.
Just saying.

Its called a beta for a reason. Why would you assume everything is going to work prefect in a test environment?
Other than that, last I heard game play is going to be similar to BF2, in terms of very large maps etc.

Only the first two things I said are inherent of a beta release. Everything else in the game will stay there in the final release because:
1) It's identical to how the final releases of Bad Company and Bad Company 2 were
2) It involves the core gameplay that is done changing or else BF3 wouldn't even be ready for a beta
or
3) It's a "side-effect" of the bitchy engine Battlefield 3 uses. Of course if you ask DICE or EA about it they'll just go and pretend it's not their fault, which is bullshit.
Also a list of things that the beta fails at which I'm tossing in here just because I can: The beta caps at 32 players and lags as bad as CA, imagine it with 64 players; only 10% of what DICE said would be destructible is actually destructible; gun recoil is insanely overblown, firing a shitty little M16 and the gun kicks back like how a 10 guage shotgun would if Sinn shot it. I can go on and on about how the beta sucks ass by listing things that may be fixed (but in all likelihood will not be).
Just saying it would be easier to go play Bad Company 2 or something rather than putting up with Origin's bullshit (which won't change for BF3's official release) because the games are pretty much identical. Actually, I'm going to refer to this game as Bad Company 3 now. To put it in the same group as the old Battlefields is extremely disrespectful to those games.
